Maundy Thursday

Matthew 26:26-29
(Full Chapter Here)
Institution of the Lord's Supper

26 Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.” 27 And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, 28 for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. 29 I tell you I will not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.”

The Prayer of Our Lord

The Father of us all, who waits in Heaven
Your holy name is above all else.
May your Kingdom be realized,
May your Will be lived,
On this lost earth as it already is in your glorious Heaven.
This day we ask for an everlasting portion of your Son,
Recognizing the debt of our sins having been ransomed by Him,
Allowing us to pay the ransom for those who in-debt themselves to us.
Guide us clear of the seductive temptation of evil
And lead us out of this exile.
You are our King. Nothing else.
You have all power. Nothing else.
You have all glory. Nothing else.
Forever for all eternity,
Past, Present and to come,
We say Amen (Which is to agree)
